Mrinal Madhav's legal practice is built on a straightforward conviction: the law exists to protect people, and every client — individual or institution — deserves rigorous, strategic, and fearless representation. With extensive experience across trial courts, high courts, tribunals, and the Supreme Court, his approach combines legal depth with practical clarity.
He has been appointed Local Commissioner and Arbitrator by the Delhi High Court, trained as a Mediator at the Delhi High Court Mediation & Conciliation Centre, and serves as a Co-opted Member of the Disciplinary Committee of the Bar Council of Delhi. Slum Dwellers' Rights & CIC Defence
Successfully argued a writ petition for slum dwellers in Delhi, expanding fundamental rights protections for marginalised communities. In a separate matter, successfully defended the Central Information Commission in the UPSC cut-off marks disclosure ruling.
Avishek Goenka v Union of India (PIL)
Part of the legal team that filed this landmark PIL, which led the Supreme Court of India to pass orders directing the removal of black and tinted films from vehicle windows — a significant public safety and constitutional ruling.
Single Working Mother's Maintenance Rights
Argued a case involving a working mother seeking maintenance for her daughters, which became a landmark ruling of the Delhi High Court. Successfully defended the judgement when it was challenged before the Supreme Court of India.
