MaMri Foundation was established by Mrinal Madhav and Marie Chanel Gillier with a singular conviction: Women and Community Empowerment. To bridge the gap between gender, economic, racial, social discrimination,— it is a failure we can correct. The foundation works at the intersection of legal advocacy, community development, and social welfare, reaching women and children who have been failed by the very institutions meant to protect them.
The Foundation since its inception has done various social work- From mobilising relief networks across multiple cities during the COVID-19 pandemic, to running computer literacy programmes that open doors for the first time, to organising health camps with volunteer doctors, to promoting sports in rural regions — MaMri does not wait for change to arrive. It goes where it is needed.

Standing With Women Who Have Been Let Down
For too many women, the law exists only on paper. MaMri Foundation works to change that — through free legal aid, rights awareness campaigns, skill-building programmes, and health camps that bring care directly to those who cannot access it. The goal is not charity. It is restoration of what was always owed.

Free legal consultation and representation for women facing domestic violence, property disputes, and workplace harassment — combined with community-level campaigns that ensure women know their rights before they need to fight for them.
Skill Development
Digital literacy — practical pathways to economic independence for women in rural and semi-urban communities who deserve more than dependence.
Health Camps
Regular health camps organised in partnership with volunteer doctors, bringing essential medical care and health education to women in underserved areas where access to healthcare remains a privilege, not a right.
